It is used to exchange graphic data between different design software applications, especially for 2D drawings and 3D models. DXF is text-based and contains information about geometry, layers, colors, line types, and other graphic object properties, enabling easy interoperability between various design tools.
Important: When attempting to upload this type of data into the System using the additional tool: Upload DXF and GML Data, please note that a DXF file (typical for CAD software) may not meet GIS data requirements, and its correct import into the System may not be possible.
