Map browsing

Map browsing refers to all actions related to moving the map image:

1. Panning (usually using the mouse with the combination: click and hold > move > release)
2. Zooming (usually using the mouse scroll wheel or the “+” and “-” buttons available on the toolbar)

These are the basic actions that can be performed in any GIS application.
