Editing Tools: Copy Objects

A tool that allows you to copy selected Objects to another Layer.

1. Make sure that the source and target layers are of the same geometry type (point, line, polygon, or multipolygon).
2. Select the objects in the source layer.
3. Open the Copy Objects tool from the editing tools in the Attribute Table header.
4. Select the target layer.
5. Optional: Map attributes. Attribute mapping allows you to choose which attributes from the source layer’s Objects should be transferred to the corresponding attributes in the target layer. For correct mapping, the attributes must have the same Data Type.
