Select by Location

A helper tool located in the Tools Panel. The tool allows you to select objects that have a spatial relationship with objects from another layer.

Types of spatial relationships:

1. intersect
2. are contained within

Use case:

Select by Location is useful for precisely defining a specific set of objects that are located within a defined area, in order to assign them the same attribute value in bulk.
