Geoportal.gov.pl is a service available at geoportal.gov.pl, where spatial data collected and shared by public administration can be viewed (and sometimes downloaded). The service is managed by the Head Office of Geodesy and Cartography. It is a Polish service.

In other words, it is a place where many maps are available, which can be:

  1. viewed directly on the service
  2. connected to your own applications via WMS
  3. downloaded as source files

 

When reviewing the system documentation, you will often find references to Geoportal.gov.pl as a source for obtaining current and valuable data.
