Selection Tool

The Selection Tool is located in the Attribute Table and is used to select objects within a layer

The Selection Tool has several modes:

1. Single selection,
2. Rectangle selection,
3. Freehand selection,
4. Polygon selection,
5. By radius and
6. By SQL query

Only objects from the layer for which the Attribute Table is open are selected.

To select objects, you need to:

1. Open the Attribute Table for the selected layer.
2. Select the Selection Tool and choose the method for selecting objects.
3. Select the objects on the map.
