Filtering objects in a vector layer

System tools allow for temporarily limiting the visibility of objects in the map window and Attribute Table based on the vector layer’s attribute data. Two tools are used for this purpose:

1. Basic Filter
2. Advanced Filter

The filter is applied temporarily and does not modify the data source.

Use cases:

1. Show on the map only pipes with a diameter of 800 mm
2. How many underground hydrants are there in the city?
3. Add an attachment to all lighting fixtures of type SODA80 (using the Add Attachment to Selected Objects tool)
4. For all cabinets on 3 Maja Street, set the attribute “condition” to “good” (using the Mass Attribute Update tool)
