This is a security feature that reduces the risk of unauthorized access to the System and does not require any external software.<\/p>\n

For 2FA to work correctly:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. each user must have an assigned email address<\/li>\n
  2. Usemaps must have email sending configured<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

    To enable 2FA:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Log in as the Administrator<\/li>\n
    2. Go to: Administration-> Settings-> Login<\/li>\n
    3. Select 2FA and choose a verification method (e.g. Email)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      How does 2FA work in Usemaps for the user?<\/strong><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. In the Login Panel<\/a>, the user enters their login and password and clicks \u201cLog in\u201d<\/li>\n
      2. Next, Usemaps sends an email with a 6-digit code to the email address assigned to the User<\/li>\n
      3. The user will be taken to the next panel, where they can enter the received code<\/li>\n
      4. Only after entering the code will the user be successfully logged in and taken to the Map Panel.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
