Attribute management is the set of processes related to<\/p>\n

  1. adding new attributes to the data (or removing them),<\/li>\n
  2. adding dictionaries to attributes,<\/li>\n
  3. procedures related to editing attributes (including bulk editing)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    in order to achieve the intended goals.<\/p>\n

    Example of use<\/h4>\n

    Problem to solve: collecting information on whether an electric installation for an advertising device is present on a pole. Instead of adding a new layer, you can simply, in the existing Poles layer: <\/p>\n

      \n
    1. add a new attribute, e.g., Advertising Installation <\/li>\n
    2. add a dictionary with the values [YES, NO, No data]<\/li>\n
    3. Fill in the attribute values by editing.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Based on such prepared data, you can create a \u201cfiltered\u201d layer containing only the objects whose attribute value is YES. This way, you get a layer of poles that have an installation. This layer updates automatically\u2014whenever someone changes the attribute in the main layer, the filtered layer updates as well. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
